Dy Nutrition Hit Bcaa 10:1:1 400G
DY Nutrition HIT BCAA 10:1:1, 400g. Dorian Yates' amino formula — 12g of BCAAs per serving, 10g of it leucine.
The 10:1:1 ratio, and why it is unusual
Most BCAA products run 2:1:1 — two parts leucine to one each of isoleucine and valine. This runs 10:1:1, which is a deliberate bet on leucine being the amino acid that matters most and the other two being largely filler.
That is a real argument with evidence behind it. It is also why the tub looks expensive per serving until you compare the leucine content rather than the total grams — at that point it is competitive.
Also in the formula
- Citrulline malate
- Beta-alanine
Doses are on the tub. The beta-alanine tingle is normal and harmless.
- 400g
- 12g BCAA per serving, 10g leucine
- Mix into water, during or around training
BCAAs, leucine, citrulline and beta-alanine hold no authorised health claim on the GB register, so we set out the doses rather than telling you what they do. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist first if you take prescribed medication.
